Hey fellas,

I enjoyed the hell out of your review, almost as much as I enjoy listening to NPS itself.

Thanks Xodus, I won't quote all your post again LOL

Even though we put it off a few times in favour of other things, it was actually fun to do smile

Cool, man! After hearing the NPS review I downloaded all of your podcasts and I'm looking forward to listening to the rest (I found Part 1 of Rainbow Children elsewhere on the net, I didn't see it on your site). I'm glad to see you guys have reviewed more of the "lesser loved" albums. And I dig your intro music, too! It JAMS!

Cheers!

You may already know this but the original music you hear in the show is by none other than Peach and Black's very own Toejam! He is a very funky man, for an Australian. razz

I prefer everything from 2001-2010 to his output from the second half of the nineties. NPS is alright but just so not that great. I love The One live but just can't get into the studio version. Its like Fury. The live version is so alive and brilliant but in the studio it just did not come across right. As for Come On sorry but I much prefer I Like Funky Music. Mad Sex is the classic on here for me though.

Another great show... except for the Wasted Kisses part... you boys ain't right!! biggrin

I guess since you guys got to sit down and talk to Prince, that there's no chance of you ever reviewing any boots?

Would love it if you were brave enough to review Small Club, or even the new Birthday 84 SBD set.

If you're too scared of pissing Prince off, then how about some protege albums or some maxi-singles?

I'd love to hear you review Madhouse or the New Power Generation 12", for example...

Oh, well, just some ideas. Keep it up. Love your shows!!

Not dead, not in prison, still funkin'...

Thanks, rialb. I'll definitely check that out. I like SoundCloud's interface. My PC got hijacked by some nasty malware through myspace last summer. I haven't been back since. I'm trying to get up the courage to risk it so I can hear toejam's tunes.

LayDownMisty

"Lukewarm" is right.

My only memories from this record were when he did the rap version of Come On on the Jay Leno show. I also love Wasted Kisses. Mad Sex is not bad either.

Another memory is that he told the audience to yell out " I like Funky Music" at his Jam of the Year show in Houston. And so we did and then he told us that it was going to be on his new record. So every time I hear that part - I think of that show and think it might be a sample from that show.

Thanks for the review guys!!

Prince - not black, not white........just COOL

Thanks alot DJThunderFunk !!

For now boots are not on our radar, but protege albums and maxi singles.. etc are definitely on the table for the future smile

I actually looked for that back when we talked about it in the show and I couldn't find it anywhere sad

I might just need to re-record it sometime !
