In terms of a nostalgic show - this is actually a rad idea!! would be pretty amazing to see those outfits and era style shows, like some metal bands are doing now playing albums start to finish etc.

Although I dont think he'll EVER do it. It's almost like he don't want to admit what went down

...'I'm in rehab'....what from dude?

Say Brothers...Can I get some credit...NO?!?!?

Prince’s look and style is as equally important as the music he creates. He’s doing these Hit driven shows, but what would just send me over top, is if he were to do chronological concert and pull out some of the outfits he made famous.

I would like for him to perform the hits starting with “Prince” and working his way up to now, changing into outfits from each era. As soon as he walks out, you know what you’re going to hear, but with new flavor. Young folks that never got to experience this, could get a sense of what it was like and for us old timers, well, that would just put a big smile on my face.

I’m not asking 50 yr old Prince to come out in Bikini underwear, but I would like for him to pull out the trench coats, the bandana, the pants with the buttons down the side, the tuxedo shirt, the white ruffled shirt, the paisley jump suits, the mid-drift and bell bottoms or the yellow suit, the peach and black, the name written on his thigh, well you get it. There just some iconic Prince clothing that we can all identify with. All in the name of FUN!!

He still looks the same and can easily pull it off!! Come on Prince, you can do this!

Although I do not think he would ever do this I am so down with this concept. His clothes are absolutely iconic. Personally, I would love to see some of the Around The World & SOTT outfits. I believe, If he can play old songs he can wear old outfits. I think the key is as you said "in the name of Fun" and for performance sake; not to go back to wearing his old threads around town when he is not performing.

I also had another idea I bet you would dig, a comprehensive photo book chronologically detailing the evolution of his clothing design and style thru each phase. Not just a cursory 50-60 pictures but a real encyclopedic documentary of his clothes. I truly believe there is a wealth of artistic expression in his clothing that should be presented in a way that does it justice, as Art. Something I think that is interesting about this idea is that all the content, the images that is, already exist they would just need to be compiled in order and released in high quality coffee table sized photo books. Minimal editing, no excluding eras or outfits just put it all out in volumes. I bet Fashion Design and Art schools would use copies as reference books for original design....phew, OK, rant over...I feel better now :-]

Ah yes, makes sense in that respect. Wasn't sure how it related when he's says it about not playing Darling Nikki live in these current shows
