Prince should have his own channel on Sirius

Really truly.

There's enough material and more than enough associated acts. Plus lots of live stuff.

Pardon me for preaching to the choir.

Agreed ... There's enough music he's written for himself and penned for other artist. I'd prefer a Prince & The Related Artist show but, that's me ...

Oh & the Related Artist and other musicial celebrities could DJ certain segments of the show, kinda like the NPGMC but, not ...

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

I keep praying this will happen (though I know it won't).

I also hope that Stevie Wonder does one.

When they had the MJ station when Thriller 25 came out, it was OFF THA CHAIN! It was so cool that you always had good music to listen to. They played album trax as well as J5 and Jacksons tracks.

I'd love it. It'd save me the trouble of plugging in my iPod.

I wrote sirius a nice long letter about it once about 5 years ago. I mentioned all the associated artists, and that he wrote most of that stuff, plus the unreleased material, and live. it was a great letter, wish I had kept a copy. As I recall I got a response along the lines of yes, that's a great idea, this will be passed on to....someone I don't recall.

Then you'd get to pay a monthly subscription fee to hear all the songs that you already have on your ipod. YAY!

Actually, I already subscribe to Sirius/XM. But only because I have a long commute - and sometimes like to listen to things other that what's on my iPod. lol

The Springsteen channel is heaven on earth, if you're a Boss fan.

If Prince did the same thing, I'd be pretty much useless all day and all night!

Not a bad idea, im sure alot of fans would apprecaite it, getting P & his purple crew 2 agree 2 it hmm...thats another story i guess.

Either way i dont care, i like listening 2 P, ive been listening 2 him everyday for 13yrs. but only @ home really so, it wouldnt do much 4 me. Plus i couldnt pick & choose what songs, plus P & associated acts for 24hrs? i like 2 squeeze non-associated P artist into my music journey of the week 2.

That's what makes a channel like this great.

If the station is programmed right, it would flow so well that you wouldn't have to pick and choose.

sirius contact his camp about this before the merger, he wanted too much money to do it. It won't happen.

All he has to do is make or authorize an internet steam and anyone can listen to it on their phone via 3G. No need to get a satellite radio.

This doesn't surprise me one bit. He's always overestimating his worth! Contrary to his belief, he's not always worth the beaucoup buck he's always asking for.

never happen. too much of a niche artist. and Mel Karmizan and Scott Greenstein are to smart to do business on Prince's terms.
