Gotta love Prince as a musician, performer and entertainer in general.

I'm sure people have their reasons not liking him, some just don't prefer him. But I bet everyone respects what he brought to the table.

I'd laugh at such a comment in a situation like that too, but obviously not because "I hate Prince". I'm pretty sure they were laughing mostly at the comment itself.

I've never tell people that I've been a fan for 25 yrs, I mean just in general conversation on the topic of music. Its the same reaction Veej was talking about. Even two close friends of mine who were fans of Prince in the 80s have no interest for him at all now. But I personally think Prince is part blame for it and especially the media with all the stuff that happened in the 90s.

true...i pray he turns it around 1 day!!!...headlining sumthin like Glastonbury would do him the world of good...and show people what a talent he is...cuz i think most think hes just a singer...NOT A FUCKIN AMAZING MUSICIAN!!!
