Walk Don't Walk

I'd forgotten about this song, but hearing it again I remember what a cute little tune it is. Now the message becomes clearer.... lol

Wouldn't you love to hear this one live?

I pulled this song out a few months ago as I had not heard it in a while. Really like it a lot. Great sound. I like this side of D&P. You know like Walk and Willing and Able. Great tracks.

It has some really pretty little sounds in it. Haven't listened to it in ages though. Can't remember the lyrics.

The version by the gospel choir is excellent.

Thanks for the tip. Just listened to a snippet. The choir does sound nice. I'm wondering about the Nikki side description though?

when the album came out, I really loved this one. over time, though, it's become one (probably the last one) I'd cut from the album if it had to be trimmed down to LP length.

Traces Gospel Choir. It's on Shockadelica, the tribute album that Prince didn't allow to happen. Again. How shocking. Not.

It actually shows how great a song it really is. Quite a few tracks on Shockadelica prove the worth of the source material.

I like this song, however its one of those that I think could've been better. Those car horns in the chorus makes an otherwise great song come to a screeching halt imo. If he came up with a decent chorus for this I think he would've had a hit on his hands. Great message in the lyrics too.

I've always liked it, but it really does have "filler" written all over it.

No, the car horns were great and experimental.

This is one of the reasons it is a standout track.

Tremolina

Hidden GEM

Doesn't really fit on D&P

Would have done great on an album together with I wonder, Open book, Get blue, Love thy will be done, I hear your voice...
