Good Luck & Best Wishes, if you've noticed sine AI has been on i've only heard of 1 Prince song in all it's seasons. I get the impression, his material may not be authorized to be covered.

I've thought about that too the other day but I would've been so disappointed if I would've been denied. sad Oh well. And to think they should do one. There's a lot of screamers this season. razz

1. I'm supporting your AI thread, because I have one in GD

2. I doubt he'll allow it

3. Choosing from the contestants this season:

I'd like to have Durbin sing The Beautiful Ones, which I guess is kind of obvious with his screaming ability.

I'd give Thia Adore.

Paul Mcdonald gets Forever in My Life.

I'd like to hear Stefano do Girl

It's Gonna Be Loney for Pia

Scotty gets Temptation, which I think would sound awesome with his deep voice, if he can pull it off. Oh or maybe Slow Love

Casey gets Joy in Repitition

The rest I don't care about.

I've thought to pair them with a song too but Naaahhhhh!!!!! razz I would be excited to hear them but would absolutely hate it if they chop it up too bad. confused Well, that means, they should leave well enough alone.

Um... let me warm up my vocals
Me ME ME ME ME...U U U U U!

I think they should write their own.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

they want people to watch. singing new, original material would be the nail in the coffin of that show.

My hope exactly.

It's hard to cover a Prince heart song. You could come off looking foolish. Prince songs are taylor made for him only. Even if you look, dance & sound like him, you still will look silly.

The safest heart song to sing is HOW COME U DON'T CALL ME ANYMORE.

Women sound natural covering his music. Prince sceamin, moanin, feminine sounds doesn't work for men. shake
