Last night Manuela (Prince's ex-wife and soon-to-be new wife of Eric Benet) posted the following on her FB page: "Hoping never to see prince on 20/20 doing a charlie sheen-esque rant. so sad". Ok, what are your thoughts on her post? What would make her post something like this? Do you think there's some underlying meaning behind her words, or is it some attempt at drawing attention to herself? Hmmm:-?

Attention whore no reason whatsoever for her to mention Prince and Charlie in the same sentence.

Oh... I'm sure she listened to many a Prince rant in her time... it probably triggered some memories. Let's face it.... he holds back with us... In private, I'm SURE he goes off. You don't have to be a drug addict to be passionate & what will appear to be narrow minded. Anyone who thinks they are right about a subject and/or opposes "the system" will appear slightly if not fully crazy. Luckily, Prince like most of us values his privacy!

I find the whole statement unnecessarily insulting. Sure worse has been said about Prince but this coming from someone who has been in his intimate circle infers that he may have some type of drug problem which in my opinion is plain malicious. My two cents.

It probably relates more to Prince's penchant for conspiracy theories than an insinuation that he uses drugs.

The price and spotlight of being Prince seems to shine just as bright even off-stage. Will the in 2011 ever grow weary?

i DOUBT SERIOUSLY HE ACTUALLY DRANK FROM THE WINE BOTTLE. In any case, Having a glass of wine is completely different than what she and you are implying.

Attention whoring. I am not calling her an actual whore mind you. Her marriage to Prince has been over for years and she's in a new relationship yet she still feels the need to drop an occasional reference to her ex and one in which she infers, however slightyly, that Prince is alchoholic-porn peddling-irresponsible father who just got fired from a high paying job. I am not calling her an actual whore. Bitch? Hell yes and a monumental one at that.

Aside from that nasty “Chaim Levine” comment most of the Charlie Sheen rants aren’t half as weird as Prince was on Tavis. Prince just gets less attention for saying weird shit because he’s been doing it forever and he’s cold sober when he does it.
