$ Don't Matter 2nite ...

If you had the $, how far would you travel to see Prince (& The NPG) Live ???

The furthest I've been is Las Vegas (I live in South Florida) ... [img:$uid]http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif[/img:$uid]

With his current band and setlists?

Nowhere.

I would rather spend the money on travel to see other artists.

Well i'm glad you had a good time and all, but he would have to play in my hometown for me to go and see him these days, and the chances of him playing Scotland again are very unlikely.

I have traveled to London on many an occasion to see him in the past, but I just find his setlist and band of the last year or so have been the most uninspired that I have ever heard him, and I have listened to almost every show on the W2A and 20Ten tours, granted it is not the same as being there, but I have good ears.

Cool you enjoyed the gigs though.

I've never been to his concert before. If I had the money I'd go ANYWHERE to see him. I'd pay for my friends' tickets too! ^_^

And he's 52...well...I wouldn't want to wait any longer!!

I think one of the entry marks to get to "hardcore" should be that you have to have traveled abroad to see the man! Thats proper obsession. smile

If I was very wealthy, I'd make Prince come to me. The ho has a tag! wink

If money wasn't an issue, I'd go anywhere and I'd take my Prince loving friends with me.

As it stands, I would go anywhere on or in the vicinity of this continent should he make the trip down under again.

Same here, and I'm not even sure if I'd bother going even if he were playing in my city. His show and set lists are just that boring to me these days. I'm glad there are others who're enjoying his stuff (which is good for you), but I'm not.

I live in Ålborg in the north of Denmark,

I have been in:

London, UK "Planet Earth O2 Arena" 2007

Cologne, Germany "Jam Of The Year Tour" 1998

Den Bosch, Holland "Ultimate / Gold Experience Tour" 1995

Stockholm / Gothenburg, Sweden "Act II Tour" 1993

Hamburg, Germany "Diamonds & Pearls Tour" 1992

Gothenburg, Sweden "Sign '☮' The Times Tour" 1987

It's not the matter of money for me.. to see Prince live.

It's more that I am 45 yrs old now,

I don't think I would travel that far anymore.

Anywhere. But only because I' ve never seen him.... sad

It would be cool to see him before he dies....or I die, who knows.

It's not about the money it's about getting the time off from work. I can never just leave at the drop of a hat. sad

But when I do travel, it's normally for cultural enrichment, paradise beaches and relaxation, not to see an artist. It's about switching off from the world to another universe and not plugging into it.

Went from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to New York City in December to see a W2A show. That's about 2021.98 miles or 3253.97 kilometres. So that far. Yeah.
