No, it doesn't. If your IQ is invariably higher than your age, telling someone to act their age instead of their IQ is telling them to act younger (ie, more stupidly) than their intelligence would indicate.

You must have hung out with some very dumb kids.

I also heard it the first time in that song. back then my English wasn't that good and in Austria we don't have that saying or anything that would compare to it.
