Besides $$$ - and playing live concerts, what do u think is Prince's plan for his career right now ?

Do you believe Prince have a "plan" for his career these days ?

I mean Prince was on top of the world in 1984-1987. Before that he was striving for fame and sucess, and he won. But:

What is there he could strive for these days?

To me, he now looks a little lazy, doing zero promotion.. not being that ambitious anymore.

He is playing some great concert shows for sure,

but if we are talking releasing music / "product" like singles, maxi singles, downloads, making music videos, concert dvd's etc., I wonder has he now given up to impress others than the very small fan crowd...... ?

20Ten wasn't a huge success was it..

Besides $$$ - and playing live concerts, what do u think is Prince's plan for his career right now ?

Ps. don't shoot me - the messenger wink

Maybe after such a long respectful career thus far, Prince just wants to walk (or fashionably stroll) the rest of his life with friends nearby and possibly find a close companion.

Prince can have a concert or distribute music at his leisure.

Can we get 2gether

Besides $$$?

EUhm......

More $$$?

Seriously, would he really want to make a kick-ass album again?

Whatever style, but kick-ass indeed?

We know he can do it, but does he realise he should do it?

He can even shelve it, it only needs to be released within my lifetime. cool

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Amen!!

Peace.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

@thedance,

I see where you are coming from.

He really threw a magnificent career down the garbage shoot really quickly didn't he?

While I respect his decision to control HIS career, things really began to fall apart when he got rid of his management and started making decisions that just weren't wise.

His career though, artistically and commercially, was something incredible wasn't it? He's probably the last artist, and only one a tiny handful of artists who combined commercial success with artistic success.

It's unfortunate that he went off the deep end shortly after Lovesexy. There were some great times in there but man, his reputation as an artist quickly faded in the late 90s/early 2000s when he started to talk about things other than his damn music.

In many ways, his career has had a tragic ending in that it showed so much promise, delivered, and then he took it back and slowly destroyed it.

I'm just happy for the old stuff and some of the new stuff. There wasn't anything like him.

Really though, I don't think the poor guy has any direction these days. He's been playing the same hits for over 30 years now. He's just so out of touch.

Why don't you ask Prince this question.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
