Wait... what? What Super Bowl show? Maybe I should check some other forums. lol

Regardless, another sign of Prince stretching out a bit in terms of lifestyle choices. I've never seen Eryka do a show with no cursing. Maybe that was a stipulation, though. shrug

The single ticket price is $2000.00 I think it's safe to say that a lot (maybe most) average folk can't afford two to four grand for a ticket or two.

$2000? Au contraire. A mere $1500.

Right, right. I got it backwards. 2000 max tickets, $1500 min price. shrug No difference, really. Average people can't afford to spend the price of a used car or a semester of college to go to a concert.

I think it's a brilliant Idea to sell tickets for $1500....This money is going towards a fantastic charity. Think about how this money will be able to help people. Don't be so caught up that you can't afford this event, you can pay to see prince for $100+ which goes straight into his pocket.

Badu ups the ante quite a bit. I still dont know if I can justify 1500, but I will try to convince my wallet between now and showtime.

Please don't do it, odds are that the crowd will be rich and eventually drunk and know little about music, his setlist will be super safe & hits based [unless he got his rock n roll spitit out and just palyed obscure trax!!]. The only thing that would be great would be if GM got on stage [& not hopefully in the toilets trying to seduce strangers!!].

That's EXACTLY why I'm thinking about going. Someone has to represent. I'll give Prince a shout out a la Otis in Animal House. They'll love me!

The first time that I saw Eryka Badu live was at one of the Paisley Park celebrations sun I don't remember any cursing at that show either flower

This is just a 'special' superbowl, limited one-time performance, and Pince has always given reasonably priced shows to his fans headbang

IMO Prince is entitled to have any kind of show he wants, at any price. Or even Free because money can't buy what Prince has. I don't think it's his intention to rule the average person out guitar dancing jig

OK, will do! It's a long shot, money wise. But, I am off that day and I may just be in Dallas, so you never know.

Actually, with Badu opening, the show might be a little more off the beaten path than you think. I've been pleasantly surprised in Dallas, music-wise, on occasion. In any case, let's hope someone goes and gives us a decent report.

If you are gonna be thinking of spending a huge chunk of your savings on a ticket your attention should be drawn to a sentence on the webpage "Performer line-ups are subject to change without notice". I'm not suggesting that Prince will back out from the gig but IF he did you'd probably not get a refund.
