PRINCE SONGS 4 THE SOUL

Playing on the idea of Chicken Soup for the Soul, what are some emotions or events that you connect with Prince songs? Here's a few...

Love (monogamy): Forever in My Life, Adore, Condition of the Heart, She's Always in My Hair (sort of)

Love (adversity): Anotherloverholeinyohead, A Million Days, The Beautiful Ones. 17 Days, Strange Relationship, How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore, Witness 4 the Prosecution (he has a lot of these)

Love (sexy): When Eye Lay My Hands on U, One Kiss at a Time, Shhh, Do Me Baby, Insatiable, Scandalous

Love (mystery): Beautiful Strange, Question of U, Joy in Repetition

Succeeding at life: White Mansion, Baby I'm a Star, Cream

Love of Music: Guitar, Purple Music

Acknowledging a Bad Chick: Supercute, Hot Thang, Peach, U Got the Look, Sexy MF

Break-ups: When Doves Cry, Eye Love U but Eye Don't Trust U Anymore

Partying: 3121, Life of the Party, Housequake

Personal loss: Sometimes it Snows in April

Social consciousness: SOTT, Colonized Mind, Cinnamon Girl, Dear Mr. Man, Money Doesn't Matter 2 Night, Pop Life, Act of God

These are some off the top of my head. Can u list some other songs/emotions? Can u break these down into more subcategories? Let's see if we can form a playlist for every mood...

In Break Ups, you should put Man o' War.

Such a great underrated song!

The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else!

I know, but it's still him at least singing it. Sounds better than the original anyway wink
