Prince mention On NPR'S World Cafe with Janelle Monae

During Dave Letterman's interview with Jamie Foxx last nite, Dave said that Prince's music is 'timeless.' yes So nice to see Dave giving Prince some props headbang Then Dave added that 'no one is doing what Prince is doing' with music. eek

Today while listenting to ' NPR' with host David Dye on 'World Cafe' again there was a Prince mention. It was after the interview when David Dye said something to the effect that Janelle was doing something that hadn't been done since Prince did it. Janelle mixes orchestral arranements with funk, soul, pop and rock.' 'Janelle covers it all in Archandroid, one of NPR's music Favorite 50 albums of 2010 woot!

Anyone going to see Prince and Janelle on Dec 29th? excited
