Firstly Mutiny...Prince isn't God...can't be anything close to anyway...and if u have him as your god, u'll keep gettin disappointed for as long as u live.

Secondly, it's crazy that there are folks here encouraging others to dabble in 'tryin' some drugs!! smh

My take on it is this.... believe what you wanna believe Mutiny. It really won't affect your life either way. Some people believe he took drugs, others don't; some people believe in God, others don't; some people believe Justin Bieber is the spawn of Satan, others erm...........

Many of you tell mme how I SHOULD feel and think about the idea of Prince doing drugs, naw...not gonna happen. I stand for that he's my hero. But I asked and got a few answers

YES. Love this movie.

I don't doubt for a minutes he's dabbled...but he's too hardworking to be a regular user of any hard drugs...seemingly he did e in the late 80's (don't know how often, but I doubt it was a regular thing....more likely he got some on tour in europe 88, as everybody was doing it then), there's stories of George Clinton doing lines even in paisley park while recording/jamming...so yeah drugs have and are around Prince....he speaks about his music representing him - and there are definitely lyrics including drug references...but he certainly doesn' seem to have a problem with them...the only hint was the painkillers he was addicted to, maybe MJ's death woke him up a bit....stories I have heard are that he has now had his hip 'fixed'...don't know if it is true or not, but he seems to be a lot more mobile that he was a few years ago...then of course the rush to hospital in the mid-90's (emancipation era) when he drank himself unconcious...but at the time who could judge him for that, that would have been a dark time for anyone....

if u think Prince would be a good role model....well, yes and no....he is no saint - but he keeps things to himself which I think is admirable...

I am tired of reading about all the stars spilling their 'private' stories just to stay in the headlines... Prince is one of the few stars who actually has a private life...what he does in his own time is his business...so long as he doesn't make a complete fool of himself publicly then thats alright....but that bird may have already flown the coop LOL

Members of James Brown's band around that time confirmed that he did a few lines in the dressing room beforehand.

Why would you care if Prince experimented with drugs?

Most of the musicians who make wonderful music have experimented with drugs....

Actually, I think it's a severe LACK of medication we're witnessing here.

I want to feed Prince a dose of Mdma and watch him own some soul for a few hours while high on it, dancing to/playing nothing but his funky sounding material.
