Although Batman is pretty cool it is quite commercial and I do sometimes wish that instead of doing that deal he released 'Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic', based on the tracklist shown on the screenshots above, this would probably have been his best ever album, esp coming right after the spirituality of Lovesexy. Or at least...released it after or before Batman. Although have to say I'm a fan of GB so wouldn't have wanted that replaced....

Does that mean he re recorded Moonbeam Levels, the original would've sounded out of place, i wonder what the newer version sounds like?

^ What people don't get about these documents is that, rather than a tracklist it is simply a list of tracks. Big difference....

Yeah, he probably would have rerecorded it.
I still haven't heard Good Judy Girlfriend, even though I probably have mixed in with all my boots albums and live shows

well then that single must have been a bootleg because there is only 1 known 'outtake' version of the song, which is the original 88 version that people have mentioned here. and that, indeed, is 98% identical to the released version on the '99 album.
there was never any official released version of this song prior to the year 1999 when it was on the album of the same title. no promo's, no inhouse promo's and no 'tapes for other people' or any such were ever circulating or even known to exist.
there is however a live version from the "small club" 1988 aftershow bootleg, that is much more upbeat/faster with more guitar.
the only other bside from the batman era that is pretty fast and upbeat and 80s is "feel u up", but i'm sure that's not what you're thinking of so i wouldn't know what else it could possibly be.
