Prince should rap more!

Every time I hear the Deuces Remix I think, "damn- Prince would be perfect on this".

Delete Andre 3000 and Insert Prince. He would tear that sh_t UP.

Why isn't he rapping more these days?

Apart from Irresistible Bitch & Acknowledge Me, Prince's rhyme skills were NEVER that good.

That would be pretty cool cool i would buy it.

Why does there have to be a soundcheck? I don't have a songcheck. You don't have a clothescheck.

There are a lot of people rapping who aren't very good. Is Prince great like Tupac? No. However, he more than holds it down when needed. The Gold Experience is one of his best albums ever. He brings it on songs like "Pussy Control" and "Now".

"New Power slide...."

Oh dear, a song rhyming "talk, walk, kiss, resist, phone, home, line, time" and then "home, alone" again in the second verse is being used as an example of the GOOD rhymes??

Take it - like Clarence said:

I like the early 90s styled flow he used to rock with.

"Feel Good" is one of my favorite Prince songs

You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

Disagree.

Proof: Y Should I Do That When I Can Do This, Muse 2 The Pharaoh, Acknowledge Me, Days Of Wild (one of the unreleased versions), Now (some versions moreso than others), Gett Off, Violet the Organ Grinder. (I know I'm probably missing some)

He's one of my top 10 favorite rappers of all time. Rakim is technically the greatest rapper ever to grab a mic, but I can't think of any Eric B and Rakim song that I'd rather hear more than any of the songs listed above.

Not at all. Prince was at his best in the 1990's when he got kind of gangsta- with that mic shaped like a gun... and the winter coat with his symbol on the back.

But that's just me. Obviously I'm in the minority here.

i agree, i love it when prince raps, he's so much better at it than everyone else. his rapping is gentle, it doesnt have that horrible violent aggressive undertone to it.

its seductive and takes you in, like an invitation to actually listen, instead of being shouted at.

plus he treats vocal rhythm so well, every little nuance is in there, with other rappers they often bulldoze straight through the whole thing.

i got respect for eminem though, he's great at what he does, but i'm over the aggression. there's enough of that in the world already.

prince's rapping is in a whole other category. a more rounded, more wholesome, subtle category. his less is so much more.

this too shall pass

I love it when Prince raps!!! He brings it and really does something to a song. I'm not a huge rap fan at all, but when it comes to Prince doing it...I'm all for it!!! Everything he does is gold!!

Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol
