20Ten is a return to form in my opinion. Better production that most stuff in the last 15 years (the Linndrum could do with some more processing though), lots of funky rhythm guitar, funky synth sounds and basses, quite a few enjoyable songs.

It is a very decent effort in my opinion, and I would like Prince to stay on this path: Prince making Prince music, not trying to emulate his old heroes or trying to sound "modern" (the awful "Laydown" being the exception here).

My only gripe with "20Ten" is too much ballads: only Future Soul Song is truely great, the rest is filler IMO...
