Strange Relationship

whats the better version of this song, the dream factory version or the sign of the times version?

I prefer the Dream Factory version with the more middle eastern influence.

I would go with the SOTT version, both are excellent though.

However in my opinion they are both blown away by the March '87 live version from First Avenue - with bits of Ballad of Dorothy Parker and Superfunkicalifragisexy thrown in, and the 'munchkin' chants of Beautiful night! Awesome performance...

I like the Dream Factory version personally.

Sign Of The Times sounds like it just had bells added to it. Still a great song and I wouldn't have thought about it until I heard the Dream Factory track so there ya go!

Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

lol r u in a bad relationship or something? I am pretty young and not in anything serious but strange relationship is a great song, especially the chorus. Plus i like the middle eastern sound of the dream factory version.

There are SO MANY good versions of this song... and LIVE, the song is AMAZING!!!

My fave version of this song is actually a live performance in which Miles Davis was in attendance and came onstage.

Just a funky funky funky tune!!

The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else!

yeahthat

I was listening to dreamfactory the other day and I'm not sure if whoever complied the boot did some editing or not, but the songs sound mixex/mastered better than the official sign 'o' the times!

chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads
