Pre sales are tickets that go on sale to a "special group" before the general public ... usually the day before... the special group can be club members or credit card holders ... i.e. live nation is now having pre sales for Sade .... they are usually good tix ... or VIP premium tix with extras like champagne or commemorative tickets or gifts ... which cost big $$$
