I assume the logic behind that was to stop a million dupe threads appearing to discuss people's favourite/most hated songs (much like the MJ thread was reluctantly made sticky in the other forum for essentially the same reason).

The idea certainly came with its own problems, but, as this thread demonstrates, it might be worth doing again if only to keep the dupes at bay (or at least to easily justify locking them quickly).

The wannabe moderators on the Org aren't satisfied with anything. Accept it for what it is and deal with it. It's really not a critical a they make stuff out to be.
