Best of Sabotage Records?

If you had the opportunity to get only 1/5/10/whatever releases by Sabotage Records in 2010, what would they be? I used to buy a lot of bootlegs from them, "back in the day". Some of them were excellent, but I guess even some of those excellent releases are now rendered obsolete by more recent and better releases. Any suggestions?

Why pay a bootlegger when you can get that stuff for free? confuse

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Back in the day we had to buy bootlegs, there was no downloading for free then.

Sabotage used to be the dogs bollocks, they released some amazing stuff.

I'm not going to do a top ten or any of that, but i'm going to say that for me it has to be any of the One Nite Alone releases, i don't think they ever released a bad one.

Also Xenophobia 2002 is a great release.

Small Club of course.

Purple Rain Tour finale.

The Lovesexy soundboards.

The list goes on and on and on.

Love your avatar by the way, i'm listening to Aura right now.

I'm in the middle of downloading the entire Sabotage catalogue right now, i have a load of them already (original silvers and downloads) but it is great to get them all in the one place with all the art and in chronological order, and in FLAC too.

It is a huge download, but worth it. It has given me a chance to not only obtain the Sab releases i did not have, but also to look in more detail at the scope of Sabs releases, they put out a lot of very good material.

I don't give my money to bootleggers anymore. But, "back in the day", depending on your connections/contacts, if you didn't want to get a 10th-generation tape, buying a silver CD bootleg was often the best alternative.

Let me reformulate my question: "If you had the opportunity to download for free only 1/5/10/whatever releases by Sabotage Records in 2010, what would they be?" biggrin

As you might have guessed, that's exactly what I don't want to do. smile I already have a lot of Sabotage releases. I'd really like to cherry-pick the best of what I'm still missing.

Thanks for your suggestions. I already have "Small Club", "Xenophobia 2002", and probably the Lovesexy soundboards. I'm probably missing "Purple Rain Tour Finale", but the same material is available on "City Lights Remastered & Extended Volume IV", right?

That is the beauty of downloading from a torrent site, you are able to cherry pick what releases you want, you don't have to download the entire thing.

As stated before in this thread, it was not always that way, years ago we had to pay for bootlegs.
