Poor quality albums

I have just put a great new stereo in my car. I need to. I drive thousands of mile every month with work.

I'm finding out nearly all Prince albums are very poorly mixed. A muddle of sound. I have albums from the 1960's which sound much better.

Why is this?

A top producer should get all those albums and remix them. The content is awesome. Just a muddy mess of production.

Fix it before i'm old and deaf!

Yeah, it's a problem. I think the best option right now is to record a vinyl copy onto a CD, if you can.

Especially Sign O The Times. That one is the worst of all of them - which is tragic. disbelief

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
