Prince claims that he never called himself 'The Artist', and that that name was a media concoction, stemming from the other media concocted name 'The Artist Formerly Known As Prince'.

he is an artist, he was known as prince.
'the artist' is just an abbreviated version of that.
so why is their even a question of being worthy of it? | |
