i'd just like to hear about any mysterious connecitons you've noticed while listening to music. i'm sure my examples are terribly lame compared to yours, so that's why i'm asking -- i love weird stuff!

so, back when i'd listen to my purple rain tape over and over, and you know how the radio would come on when one side of the tape ended? well, the timing was just so that just as the tape finished playing purple rain, the radio station that came on started playing lets go crazy -- it was a magic moment at the time...

then more recently... so i've just started buying random mp3s and putting them on cd. so i listened to the little samples, including brand new orleans and this song by the congos -- "ark of the covenant", among others... and there's that kind of distorted downward keyboard sound at the end of brand new orleans, and then at the beginning of ark of the covenant, there's an upward distorted animal sound that so perfectly complements the downward sound, i just found it strange that i hadn't heard these songs before and they ended up back to back on this cd.

Love shyt like that...u will probably get a bunch of a-holes baggin on your post though..but yeah, I dig musical synchronicities...i like to play the psychic radio game sometime, I will have the radion on...(rare in itself these days) and will say or think "Prince is on another station right now"..I change to any random station 1 outta 2 tries..and he IS on! thats one of my lil wierd MusiConnections..

i like that! your mind is so fine tuned to pick up prince's vibe among the sea of songs and static around us. i'll have to try and see if that works for me. thanks for contributing!
