Prince vs Liberace - Who could out play who on the piano?

If it was a contest on who could out play who on the piano, I say maybe Liberace. I

just saw a clip of him playing the piano for the first time tonight and he is really good.

He was on his show he had back in the late 60's playing "Boogie Woogie" and he played

the keys kinda fast with one hand while looking out into the audience talking. It was very

funny. Liberace played so effortlessly like he was "one" with the piano. I haven't seen Prince

play at the piano much so I do not know how connected he is to it. But, I have heard a

couple of piano pieces Prince composed and they're nothing short of a stroke of Genius! wink

Liberace is a BEAST of a pianist, I think his flamboyant image distracted from his playing skills. So yeah, I'd def nominate him.

Although, Prince is more versatile player IMO.

The title should be:

"Do you think Liberace could school Prince in Piano?"

Then you're supposed to put in the main text:

"Because I do!"

Then you're supposed to show pictures of Liberace "kicking ass" on the piano in front of an adoring crowd.

At least that's how it was done here with Dave Matthews, etc. etc.

I don't think so. As much as I like his playing, he didn't really master the instrument like Liberace did,,,,,he could, if he invests his time on it like he does to the guitar.

Don't know about a piano playing contest, but Liberace was way more butch.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Gee whiz, you guys. The OP stated clearly that she just experienced Liberace's greatness for the very first time tonight. She doesn't know enough to understand why that is a comparison that really should never be made.

So help her out!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.
