i never liked the opening title track (un-released version is awesome though cool), but the rest of it is pretty decent though. prolly not the best he did that decade, but still damn solid (save a song or 2) thumbs up!

It may not seem it now, but this album was a huge risk for Prince. Knowing that he would lose fans who wanted just another Purple Rain album, he garnered a lot of respect from the critics and other fans who knew his journey was bigger than just one note.
