I think there are some great choices here. My mind also went to many of his tunes in high falsetto...but Future Soul Song also reveals the beautiful textuality of his natural tone.

This would be my choice these days, because I have rediscovered that song again and love it to pieces!!! What I think makes it so special is that Prince sings in falsetto as well as in his normal voice. Plus the talking adds something extra, as I also love his speaking voice very much. Listening to this song on my headphones always takes my breath away! There are many others, of course, "Adore" is definitely also one of my favorites, regarding vocals. [Edited 9/22/10 5:24am] | |

He is one of the rare artist that singing voice can go comfortably from high to low to tenor.Prince is most known for his falsetto. But he has a equally impressive tenor and bass voice also.... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"!
