Prince blues songs

Hello!

Does Prince have many blues songs? In that case, could you please name them for me? I guess that "The Ride" is kinda bluesy, but are there others aside from that one?

or the undertaker?. I have a self complied ITunes section and there's some really cool stuff on there, especially live tracks where he lets the blues really rip.

Old friends 4 sale is an amazing song and I absolutely love it. But... do u consider it to be a blues song? I don´t, at least I´ve never thought about it like that before. No matter what a fantastic piece smile

I do consider it a blues song..., if not in instrumentation, then certainly in the blues style of lyrics, voice, and melody... Have a listen again. biggrin

I'd love it if Prince did more blues.

Although, they are infused with a healthy dose of r&b and gospel, "Dark" and "Count the Days" have a blues feel to them.

All of The Vault:OF4S is jazzy and blues-infused to me. But the specific ones are:

She Spoke 2 Me

5 Women

When the Lights Go Down

My Little Pill

There is Lonely

Old Friends 4 Sale

time flies.
