I never was a big fan of his ballads-when I was younger, but this one is one of my fav.

When The Hits was released I listened 2 it a lot and it is much better than that other unreleased/new song on The Hits: Pope

I prefer these kind of ballads (Saviour, She gave her angels, I hate U) 2 the really slow ones (Adore, Insatiable,)

fair enough, and for what it's worth, I think you're right about what the image means, I just am not sure the lyrics make literal sense.

He isn't saying "I'm making, like crafting, you a coat of pink cashmere." But he's saying "I'm making you into a coat of pink cashmere."

Ahhhh Pink Cashmere truly one of the best songs ever written and one of my top ten favorite Prince songs. It's the kind of song that, when Prince is long gone, people will look back and realize what a treasure it is.
