KCOOLMUZIblahblahblah, why on earth do you insist on typing within someone's quote? Your font being purple doesn't distinguish you enough (though I know ur tryin girl!), so you should attempt to type outside of the quote so people understand what the hell you're talking about.
Forums, 101.
First of all I am not a girl, woman, female. This is all male here. I will put it outside the quote now...

lol, Yeah because he has shit for singles choices and he doesn't promote anything.
Again, I hate to offer my 2 cents in this manner because its pointless, but brother could've worked Musicology and 3121 out to be proper comebacks and not just, "Who? Prince? That skinny motherfucker with the high voice?" type deals. |

ejaculation habits and career paths seem to have a lot in common lol
his squirt travels far less distance these days - lots of thrusting (a lot of work goes into albums) - but not much afterwards to back it up (no promo or good single choices) etc...
if his marketing methods are any indication of his bedroom habits well lets just say i'm glad i'm not gay this too shall pass |

There is many times in Prince 30 plus career that he stayed on the top charts 4 months. So what is ur point? For him to even still debut at #1 still this stage in his career is a major accomplishment... U people I swear I wish U delete ur accounts...Where will those new artist be in 30 years? Working at Mickey Dees..... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! What "new artist" are you even referring to?
And like Prince has said, if a label wants a number 1, they can run it up the charts. Labels don't need to run a Prince album up the chart beyond an initial display. I question the validity of 3121's #1 debut simply because the singles performed awfully and he got no radio airplay. Hmm. Interesting that, considering some artists have way better airplay than Prince and wouldn't manage a #1 debut. So if we take reality (the plane in which you might not exist, I'm not sure yet) and Prince's thoughts on charts and mush them together, we get the concept that there's no telling if Prince's #1 bowing with 3121 is legitimate or worthwhile.
I also question why you think that it's a major accomplishment for an artist of his stature to debut at #1. There are artists who've been around longer than him who debut at #1 all the time. |

I could easily be wrong here and if I am someone please correct me but I think it is important to remember something. Lotusflow3r was a triple album. Every unit consists of 3 discs. So if it initially sold 180,000 discs that means that only 60,000 people bought the set. I'm not sure how the Bria Valente disc fits in with the official sales tally. Even though he had as much, probably more, to do with the creation of that album as Bria did technically it is a Bria Valente disc, not a Prince disc.
I thought it was funny that Prince argued that he sold more discs than Keith Urban. Maybe Prince is correct but even if he is three times as many people bought the Keith Urban disc compared to Lotusflow3r.
I also think it is funny that Prince's brand new album has sold zero copies in the United States.

You're confusing the RIAA, which tallies each disc in a set individually for their gold and platinum (shipped, not sold) awards, with Soundscan, which records sales by UPC. The 180,000 figure is correct.
As for 20Ten: it's not quite zero in the US (folks have reported seeing imports) but it hasn't been officially released, and doesn't have a UPC, so it would be pretty tough to track.
you are wrong.the riaa changed their policy years ago.each set regardless of how many dics are included ..each set counts as one.the dont count how many cds chipped anymore its about what has ACTUALLY sold. |
