2010 Tracks published by Universal?

Does anyone know why the 2010 tracks are listed as published by Universal? I thought he was independent? I may just not know how the industry works...

Indies still gotta get support from publishing companies. BMI and ASCAP are the main ones, and I believe, the only ones.

Prince moved his publishing from WB to Universal back in 1999 or 2000.

Many people just don't have a clue what a publishing deal is, and confuse it with a record deal.

Sesac is the third one.
