I honestly hope never to read a full unauthorized biography from someone in the Prince camp.

It's only a matter of time before one surfaces with real juicy parts. Shit Rock Hudsen and Liberace tried like hell to slide their business under the carpet. But dirty laundry seems to always get aired. MJ's legacy days are numbered--it's only matter of time. But, I dread those parts, honestly. The parts dealing with Prince that is.

No one ever confirmed Jill was talking about Prince. Jill talks about more than Prince in her life, especially at this point. There were a lot of folks in that audience who were probably known to have been abusive to a woman. Doesn't mean she meant Prince.

Jill's claims are serious. If she's lying that's harsh bullshit, and if she knows something she wants to share, then she should share it clearly.

I find this hard to believe that Prince would do such a thing anyway: other people would have talked about it. Of all people Wendy & Lisa would have been the first to reject him for this (they already were really pissed at him for the way he handled his relationship with Susannah, though it didn't include beating as far as we know). Prince has slept with hundreds of women and the way most of them respect his privacy tends to prove that he was really respectful with them.

Many musicians hand them to their employees to keep their working environment & techniques from being unveiled.

If it really did happen and said person was stood before a judge being cross examined and was asked if they were attacked, do you really think that 'I'm sorry, I can't answer that because I signed a confidentiality agreement' would wash as an excuse not to answer?

Excuses for behaviour and denial. Congratulations, if this issue really did turn out to be true, you'd be a perfect catch for any would-be abuser.

We're omnivores by nature. Some people are vegetarians, but only by choice. And you can't choose for your unborn child. Many vegetarians succumb to eating meat whilst pregnant, because the baby is craving it. Meat isn't unhealthy as you try to make out. In fact, we need it. That's why vegetarians have to take supplements to get the right amounts of missing nutrients. They have to do that because they're not getting a balanced diet, so have to stock up on protein & certain vitamins & minerals by different means.

Some ways of cooking meat are unhealthy, granted, but exactly the same can be said of some ways of cooking vegetables.

And if you believe everything he says in lyrics, then there's always:

"Don't you know I could kill you now. I've got a gun. I'll slap your ass into the middle of next week."

I'm not saying I believe or agree with this thread, and I won't until I see more evidence, but I'm not gonna strap on a pair of purple blinkers and deny that it could be true, just because he's my favourite artist.
