On the contrary. If he is not wearing a toupee, the only other explanation, is that he had hair transplantation surgery. Either way, with all that money, you would think he could get his hair to look better than it does now (contrary to the old wives tale, baldness comes from both sides of the parents. His daddy was bald, so he's going bald or his hair will be extremely thin).

His hair loss started in the early to mid 90s, as seen in the original version of "The Same December" video. In Version #2, special effects were added to cover his bald spot.

The Lacefronts that you are describing are the kind that are availble in the store. You can also get them custom made. They look convincingly real, especially for men because it is kept cut short. There is one, thats on the Farrel website, and it is cornrowed all back. The girl wearing it has alopecia and is completely bald. You would never be able to tell. Can't find that one, but check out this one. I can't seem to copy and paste the before picture but if you go to this link and click this picture and you will see the "before picture. The results ae immediate. It's just a wig that is adhered to the scalp with temporary glue. Done very naturally to mimick real hairlines and scalps.
