Stone, yay or nay!

I keep sleeping on songs. This song is damned good. Nice rocky, poppy song with amazing chorus. It aint top notch, but it really cooks.

All I ask is that his new songs be at least this good. Stone is really nice.

Yay--any haters? Bart? lol

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

Sandra's version is "Nothing Left To Give". Just the lyrics in the verses are the same. The music is very different.

Thanx Chris.

I guess I got some diggin' up to do then hmmm so far I'm only fimiliar with these Emancipation outtakes:

I'm The DJ

Slave to The System

Somebody's Somebody(Remix)

I absloutly love the music that came from the Emancipation era, so I'm sure I'll sink my teeth into this gem once I find it.

Yeah, I like this track. A friend of mine sent it to me and I my mouth fell open. It's simple and straight to the musical point ... cool

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

I just love it. Absolutely. A pop masterpiece.

WAY better than ANYTHING he released since 2004.

Thanks! I still would like to be able to compare the two versions. Anyone know where I can find Sandra's version?

A HUGE Yay! I wish he had put this on one of his CD's and released it as a single cause it would have been massive.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

lovel song. when the demo for "guitar" was released on 3121, this is what it reminded me of.

the album version of "guitar" doesn't sound like it at all, but that demo had a little bit of that

same breezy pop feel to it.

anyway, "stone" is a great outtake. proving again that simplicity is often best nod

and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Stone was recorded in 1995. So we dont know if it was an outtake from the Emancipation album or intended for the album..Most of the songs on Emancipation was recorded in 1996. Plus Stone doesnt really sound like anything on Emancipation imo
