I like how when the performers were dancing to the MJ song, "Smooth Criminal", the stage was all black, and the dancers' bodies were outlined in white. Real cool!!

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Chris is crying. He can't seem to hold it, while singing MJ's "Man in the Mirror". Oh sh*t, Chris broke down on stage! When he got to the line about making a change in his life, he probably thought about the mistakes he made in his life. Damn, well, he tried.

Oh man, I was on that feed that stopped. I can't believe he'd try and sing that song, if he has any conscience anyway. eek

Chris had too much baggage attached to his life and this is why they should have let Neyo do the performance. I guess next year, they'll have to try again with another tribute to MJ.

Sure was - on an opprtunity to do his image a little good, the lack of professionalism and self control could be found as touching to some - but he mostly looked like a punk out there.

k... I'm not re-typing what I put on Facebook about Chris Brown...So I'll copy and paste:

Just sayin: BET Awards have gotten worse each year. And why is Eminem there sounding all negative and hateful in his delivery? Award shows aren't fun with hate. ---- I see Jermaine, the most waxy of the Waxsons.

OMG PLEASE TELL ME THAT'S NOT WHO I THINK IT IS DOING THE MJ TRIBUTE

NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO D:

AS MUCH AS I HATE CHRIS BROWN.....YOU HAVE TO ADMIT THAT HE STUDIED MJ RIDICULOUSLY [EVEN B4 HE DIED]............And now he's sobbing......*done with the statuses*

Sad but true. "Man in the Mirror" is my favorite MJ song of all time, but the dude just ruined it for me.

NeYo was the only one who did a decent performance at the first tribute...I agree they should have chosen him this time. I bet this was Jermaine's dumb idea. sad

Oh well, it was going good for a while there.

Yes, it was Chris, and he broke down. But I think he also broke down thinking about the mistakes he made in his own life, because when he started singing the line, "Got to make a change in my life", that's pretty much when he broke down. You know that's going to be all over youtube and the rest of the internet tomorrow. They should have let Neyo do it, because he was a major MJ fan as well. Even "Omarion" would have been a better choice.

They were probably trying to give Chris a chance to revive his career, but Neyo or Omarion would have definitely been better choices. Once again, BET messes up with the MJ tribute. When the audience realized it was Chris, there wasn't much of a warm welcome from what I heard from my tv. What BET needs to do is have a separate show for an MJ tribute, they can't possibly do it right on this particular program.
