Choose - watching your team in the world cup final OR tix to a P gig on the same night!

This'll test your loyalty! - if your country made it to the world cup final [USA purple heads really need to stretch your imaginations here!!] and you were offered a ticket to see Mr. P on the same night which would you choose!.

In my case it is England [although my £ is firmly on Argentina to win it!!] so the football final would win by a mile, it's once every 4 years, have seen P 30+ times so there's no competition!.

P.S. I really do think that the USA will give England a really tough time on Saturday night - my money is on a draw.

I missed the England v Germany semi in 1990 to go see Prince at Wembley. Considering I saw 9 gigs of that tour maybe I should have watched the footie. But then we lost so I guess I made the right one. smile

What a ridiculous question. Prince, of course.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

England in the World Cup Final for me, even if it was just watching it on telly.

Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

Hell, I didn't even know the USA has a world cup team so I'd like to say that I'd go see Prince.

However, that would really depend on who he was bringing on stage with him. If Larry, that scary lady with the towel and Bria with her bar stool sitting act were to be there...I'd rather go watch the soccer match! lol

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Pearce and then Waddle cry

I didn't go to the Nude Tour but I remember a friend saying that Prince mentioned the match in the concert. Is that right?

I was at that gig. He actually delayed the gig 4 the extended match 2 end. A few people in the audience had radios & would shout out the results 2 the rest of us! P offered a coupla lines of commiserations!!

I have no interest in sports, so my answer is obvious. Prince.

OMG, no decision to be made there at all, Prince all the way! Soccer and all the wackos that riot over a stupid game suck.

To me football is one of the most boring sports. I really don't understand what so many people see in this game. I'd rather watch three hours of curling or boccia, etc...

So I choose Prince, of course.

I never said I wouldn't. I don't understand your point here, unless you're just stating the obvious.

Go to the concert of course. Copy the game and then it would be a media ban in the car on the way home. Then watch the game.

Easy decision

I'd watch the football, without a shadow. A once in a lifetime opportunity vs something I've done many a time.

English football culture is embarassing!

You need to take time out to get into this game ......I bet my car you'll love it just as much as US football .....maybe more

It's the largest sporting event in the world - FACT everyone will be watching it ....it's sad that the US don't join in more , you've got a good football/soccer team! biggrin
