Although I greatly respect the skill and athleticism it takes to play soccer, I'm more of a baseball, American football, and basketball person, so I'd take the Prince tickets over the World Cup tickets even though I have seen Prince over thirty times. In fact, unless it is the World Series, the Super Bowl, or the NBA Championship Series, I'd take the Prince tickets over all other sporting events.

As a final note, and this will probably cause me to sound like an "ignorant American," but due to the popularity of our professional sports leagues, international sports is not as major or are not as big of a deal to most Americans as say international events, such as the Olympics or the World Cup. I'm not saying that Americans do not get excited about the Olympics or the World Cup, but we tend to be more exited and care more about our professional sports leagues than international events.
