Watch Detroit '86 in black & white! The colour of my old "Prince live in Detroit birthday concert '86" VHS is really odd. So I adjusted my TV-set to watch it in black & white. An it was the bomb! It gives the concert that special UTCM-movie touch.
I wish I could step into a time-machine, travel back to 1986 and tell Prince: "In the future U better don't do Batman! Finish Sign 'O' The Times next year, do Lovesexy and then please reunite The Revolution!!!". Just a dream . . . By the way, is there a VCD of the concert in circulation? There's a bootleg out called "Birthday Parade 2cd". It has the Detriot '86 audio show on 1 cd and the video in CDROM on the other. |
