i dont think P is ever going to allow a movie to be made about him in his lifetime. so until hes dead its gonna be awhile before we actually get to see it

i think katt williams would be a good choice to play prince
they have the same built , the have almost the same voice, the same look(if they clean kat up a bit ) and comedians make the best dramatic actors

plus both are pimps and like canes

i think kat can pull it off if he spends time with prince and studies him

idk about that.... im kind 50/50 on Katt playing Prince. Jamie Foxx played a great Ray Charles,Val Kimmer played a great Jim Morrisom. Whoever played MJ in "Man in the Mirror" did a terrible job. I hope it doesnt turn out like that. How much of his life would be covered? I know people say Purple Rain was the movie about his life but theres a lot i would like to see acted out. Like Prince's trouble with his dad and stepdad,breaking up the revolution,The whole Warner Brothers/Slave era,Vanity,Rick James,the Ectacy 88 story, and the big "comeback" in 04.

Katt Williams - no way. A relaxer and a slight build does not a 'Prince' make.

For any biopic potrayal, it's really more about the essence and feel of the subject than the look. Prince albeit slight in stature has a huge presence. The individual that takes on this role has got to do 'brooding brilliant androgynous arrogance' well. Katt is not powerful enough, and he's a bit too chitlin' to pull it off. He also lacks fresh energy.

Evan Ross has the look, and may be hungry enough to take it there.

I would hope there would be some audition process before just casting some name actor. I personally don't think Katt could do a credible job, he hasn't got the range or talent. I don't know the other guy, but... no. I don't think I could ever watch a bio-pic about Prince, would just be too critical and I think it would probably suck as a movie, especially with Katt in the lead. He'd probably want to play Morris any way, he might actually be great in that role. I liked what they did with I'm Not There, multiple actors tackling different aspects of Bob Dylan. It was an interesting concept, and well done.

Prince is way prettier than Kat Williams . Just because a short black man dresses in pimp suits and holds pimp canes, dosen't mean they automatically look like Prince.
