Help with Prince's videography

Does anyone have a list of specials Prince has had over the years (The Beautiful Experience, The Ryde Dyvine, etc.) and their contents? I need help discerning between the music videos played during them and his actual promotional videos for singles.

Thanks.
Rob

Now I'm confused more. I know that I Like It There was released on NPGMC...and I assumed I Hate U was released since it was a single anyway. Damn I wish Housequake was still around...

I have this information about another ABC broadcast...

It was a 40 minute film entitled Act 1 and was first broadcast on 18th December 1992, as part of ABC's 'In Concert' series.

The film mixes fictional parts, with interviews and video clips from the prince album. It starts with a video of '2 Whom It May Concern.' It then shows Mayte walking back to her palace with bodyguards. The rest of this part features Mayte taking a bath with servant girls, her father getting stabbed to death, and then Mayte riding across an Egyptian desert.

Act 1 then continues with video clips of 'Love 2 The 9's,' 'The Morning Papers,' 'The Continental,' 'Damn U,' and '7,' interspersed with interview clips from various NPG members. They talk about Prince and his studio work, life on the road and Mayte. They question her role in the band, at which point Mayte appears, explaining how she met Prince and how she influenced the prince album.

Most of the footage in this film was later used in the home video/laserdisc '3 Chains O' Gold.'

The Ryde Dyvine.

Broadcst on 19th December 1992.

Includes a 17 minute five song set by Prince, and one song each by The Crayons, Carmen Electra, George Clinton, Rosie Gaines and Mavis Staples.

The performance by the guest artists was lip synched to the studio recordings, only Prince actually played live.

The Ryde Dyvine was broadcast in 1992, so it has nothing at all to do with 'Live At The Aladdin.'

(see above post by squirrelgrease for tracklist)

Sorry to confuse, I'm old school. Officially released to me means able to buy it in a store somewhere. The video for I Hate U was not released, not sure if it was ever released on NPGMC.

The video for 'Eye Hate U' was not available to members of the NPGMC.

Eye Hate U was the first single to be taken from The Gold Experience. Apparently, the video was not released (shown on tv) because Prince was reluctant to promote it while being under contract to Warners.

Too bad that some of the videos on the "3 Chains O' Gold" official release were edited down from the original.
