ok im going to be honest i hate this song but the overrall music video it was really good i liked it the scenes with Apples and Prince were really cute but i did think the ending was a little werid with all the sideways pictures and everything but whatever and im not going to comment on the bathtub scene but i was wondering why did he have his guitar right beside his bath tub??? that was just too sexy

I don't know which is more preposterous: that you hate the song or that you hadn't seen the video up 'til now.

funny. I had the opposite reaction. LOVE the song, but the video hardly does it justice. I find, for the most part of it, dated.

when doves cry.. i never get bored of that song no matter how many times i get to listen to it.. still don't know how it sounds like when the effin doves cry but doesn't matter.. i LOVE the song and i LOVE the video.. so 80's.. wish i was alive back then..

It's possible as a fan not to like a big song. I don't really like PR, just like I don't like Thriller. I've just heard it TOO many times. I can appreciate it's worth sure, but I won't play it.

But when this video came out it was freaky for that time.

The guitar is a prop...or like Janelle with her recorder at her bedside for her dream ideas, he's got it close by in case he gets any bright ideas in the bath Makes sense, baths are relaxing.

Good question, what does it sound like when the doves cry? I got the idea that there is no sound. It's like being deaf. Spiritually dead inside.
