DMSR credits: Who are these people? Something I've wondered for a while -- in the credits for "DMSR," I'm guessing that Jamie is Jamie Shoop, but do any of you know who Carol, Peggy, Poochie and The Count are? Wondering if these are pseudonyms for key players in the Prince story or just a random group of people never to be heard from again. | |

I would bet, but am not sure, that they were other management folks or even WB folks that were around when he recorded this. Or perhaps a friend of someone who worked there, or an assistant to someone, and they had a nickname. All conjecture. It would be cool to know though. PS I found my information in DMSR by Per Nilsen. I remember Peggy talking about it before, and knew it was in the book. | |

Alan Leeds? He was around and later took over the 1999 tour as Tour Manager. He was the third in line for that job. It was considered "the tour from hell" backstage. Most of the band welcomed Alan being in charge. Of course the album was out before all that. | |
