Ricky P has worked on many Prince projects including The Gold Experience, Come, 1-800-NEW-FUNK, Chaka's Come 2 My House and Larry G's GCS2000 albums to name but a few.

St. Paul Peterson is a former member of The Time (the skinny white dude in Purple Rain ), was the front-man of The Family, and has since carved a successful solo and sideman career since leaving the Purple camp.

We also discuss briefly Prince's upcoming European shows and speculate on what's in store for Princeworld 2010.

Sounds like four great galahs and drongos got themselves complimentary tickets. Sounded like American commercial radio at times.

Nope, no complimentary tickets. We all paid for them fair and square. It was us who instigated this episode, not them. We notified them that we'd be doing the show, and they graciously sent us the promos. It's very rare that anyone from Princeworld comes downunder so when they do, we like to make the most of it.

But that's alot cheaper than flying to MPLS to see them play so I guess it's worth it

Further to that, I don't mind paying for tickets if it means making the tour successful to the point where any related MPLS artists consider touring Australia on a regular basis. These guys have never been here (in this configuration) before, same with Sheila. Unlike the US or Europe where it doesn't take much effort to catch a "Time" gig, or Maceo or Candy or Larry G, etc etc, we are really excited to catch for the first time the Peterson Bros, paying for the tickets is the very least we can do for these guys.

Shows are starting this week. Sending a big HI 2 everyone in Melbourne, enjoy the show on Wednesday night. I have a feeling Ricky, Paul, the brothers and Sheila are gonna bring it!

Anyway, you guys really did a fantastic promotion....I'd go in a minute,
except for the fact that I'm on the other side of the ocean; although
I heard the Peterson Brothers here, they didn't have Sheila with them
when they were in Minneapolis...so how is it that you guys rate?
