Um... not wishing to dicert this thread... if you link to the Usher commentary. scroll down. There's a comment posted by someone, apparently, with Iran. Is this a hoax? Is anyone a member of Time and able to post a response and see whether all is ok? I'm going to try and log on and establish what is going on. If the post is legitimate, we need to try and get this information out to as many people as possible.

I meant 'divert', of course... but the Iranian post is alarming. Have signed in and asked a couple of questions, as you may see. Ummmm, how odd that sometning that is to be celebrated - despite the strangeness of Prince getting this award - can be potentially transformed into something that matters.

Did you look at Time's other 'influential' people?
Do you still feel the need to take the lists serious?

Not serious, just amazed he features. Did you read the posting from Iran?

I even watch Iranian TV.
Now what does that to the believability of the Time lists?

"Anyway"...Usher said some nice things on that Blog, but that doesn't distract from the fact that the said list mean's absolutely nothing, as it's just a bunch of random quotes about random celebs.
