I'm still stuck on this song. Listening to the lyrics, it's plain to me that the song is reminiscent of Nona's childhood, with her father taking center state in this piece, although I was surprised (almost shocked) to hear a gun shot ring out in the background.

Has anyone noticed this?

Nice song,rather sad too. don't quite understand all the lyrics, love the part "where the ocean swallows the shore" and i suppose tears come with the summer because it melts the snowman but it's a strange idea. I always equate summer with rebirth.
