Look the guys good but better than Prince... 
No wonder why 6 music is shutting down .... if you put prince in a list of the best guitarist over the last 30 years then come on ...play more than purple rain BBC...

But Prince isn't really known as a guitarist to the general public... Most people think he died in the 80s , the rest think he's a symbol-named homosexual who does play anything and hasn't released anything since TMBGIW. | |

Dudes! I am just lovin purpledoveuk's comment it is so true! To the unanointed, Prince is just a "Oh I like Purple Rain, Epic!" Also all the high heeled struttin posh frocks go gallopin 2the dance floor at the first twang of Kiss. Finito????.....I spend most o my time spreadin the word. It starts with bare facts length o time in the buisness, Instruments played, Vocal range, Songs written{ I mean most dont even no that Prince wrote Nothing Compatres 2U dont U find?} Then I lend out CD's, Invite them round ro view my stuff, direct them 2 appropriate stuff online an owwwwwn nowwwwwn nowwwwwn until they either join or dont join my hungry entourage tounges hanging out gagging to lap it allup YUM YUM.

Looking at some of the people who came in lower than Prince I think 8th is a very respectable position for the little fella.  Some people are like Slinkies...
