Rarely, do I need to ask for help on the background story of a song but this time I need some confirmation. Someone told me today that the song "Peach" was written about Kim Basinger, I've never heard that. Looking at the lyrics, I would say Mayte. Any fact or rumors as to who inspired the song?

I always heard it was about Kim. In fact isn't her voice on the song? A sample from the Scandalous Sex Suite?

Kim is a southern gal so the term PEACH wold fit her better than Mayte.

That's the reasoning that my friend gave me but the song was published in '93 and Kim is pale not tan like Mayte and I remember Mayte always wearing those golden hot pants around that time frame.
