What's this about? Who are Arden B Silverman/Capital Asset Protection and why are they suing?

It's a little vague, but it's curious that Lotusflow3r, LLC is listed.

Another party did the work and apparently couldn't collect from Prince, so they assigned their rights to Arden B. Silverman and his collection agency.

I don't think this claim is all that new, but the assignment is.

So he didn't pay the recording engineer who mixed the album? Wonder what happened there. Prince, fire your accountant!!

It's not right to not pay people for their services. Someone told me that you always get it back at the end.

Prince getting sued is nothing new. U know it's like the Diddy song "More money more problems". Hey just know this weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.

karma always find her man...be it Prince or his accountant that is at fault....at the end of the day Prince is in charge - especially now he pretty much runs things himself....so I doubt very much that he was unaware of these bills....and the people he owes money to have no doubt exhausted every other method to get what they are owed...Prince is well known for being pretty bad at paying for things, engineers, video crews, canes, mansions, .... obviously he took the song 'When Will We Be Paid' pretty seriously when he covered it in the early 2000's

seriously though.....the more you dig, the more dirt you'll find....I love the man's music, and what he tries to present to us via his lyrics...but deep down he's a real contradiction to what he preaches and therein lies the problem with anything to be taken seriously from Prince....he very rarely will go too deep...like looking in a mirror it seems he's only looking at the surface of the reflection....

how else can he hold his head up after ripping off his fans for a site that gave us very little after the hype his people generated before LF.com opened its doors....lesson learned right there for me!

I think its inevitable that our little Prince will end up broke. He has been writing checks his album sales can't cash.

Sure he will always get some royalties and their will always be a live audience for him to tap, but he still lives like someone who sells 3 million albums a year. The chefs, security, the diva whims...and most of all, lawyers.

These court cases are going to keep coming because he is not in the real world.

He'll be forced to tour the hits every year soon like Little Richard and James Brown had to.
