Afaik there's no studio version circulating.

It used to be played live at the end of Head in the Parade Tour and at the end of TQOU on the Nude Tour.

Where did you get the track length for the studio cut?

That version can be found on 'Nudity' (Thunderball) and 'Prince in the nude' (Diversity). I think it's also on Camille's 'Nude Tour Rehearsals' DVD.

The live versions (both '86 and '90) can be found perfectly cut and mounted on 4DaFunk's 'Playtime'.

^'Jelous Again' is said to be a cover of a Black Crowes track. I can't tell for sure as I've never been into Black Crowes.

Not really a cover, but just a rehearsal guitar-jam. Fact is "Jealous Again", featured on the first Black Crowes album, was just released a few weeks before this rehearsal took place. It *seems* Prince is actually saying "jealous again" as some sort of chorus or something, but that's where the similarities end.

^This seems to be never ending story.

Per Nilsen first wrote it was a BC cover.
Then I heard it had nothing to do with it, just the title mention.
Lately I heard it was, again.

So I think the only way for me to know for sure is to listen to the actual BC track, which I'm too lazy to do...

Thanks for your input.

A quick 30 second' listening to the original will reveal it has nothing to do with it. No lyrics, melody, chorus, chords, sound or tempo in common at all.
