i've never really paid her any mind (the diddy connection killed her whole credibility stoned), but i watched this video and i must say it's quite decent smile. i remember seeing her as a female version of andre 3000, but her dance moves are actually more like james brown cool. the song is too. it's quite funky and pretty catchy dancing jig and she's cute (in her own kinda way hmm). i might could dig her if she has a tight album thumbs up!

What I've heard of her music I quite like. Never seen that video before but I am definitely a fan of it!

As to her looks, I think she's actually quite conventionally attractive. But because she's not running around in stupid "sexy" dresses with heels and a long weave it throws people.

I know Diddy is behind her but I think Andre 3000 from OutKast found her and helped develop her. I could be wrong but I remember reading that somewhere. I love her 2 bad she didn't get pushed to the front of the line like GAGA.

No but the record industry did bite her style (hair, clothes and music) and pimp it out to about 3 or 4 act's in 2009 .....in europe at least..

U know the Midget was doing the JB thing with songs like "Irresistable Bitch" and "Housequake"...I didn't see anyone complaining then...Maybe it was because he was young and still fresh....

As opposed to dude being 51 years old and doing JB...See the difference?

It was Big Boi from Outkast who found her (even though people DO compare her to Andre 3000). I have no idea how Diddy got involved, but her style is more Outkast than anything I've heard from Diddy/Bad Boy Records.

Akon signed Gaga and his label is distributed through Interscope/Universal. I read somewhere he said that he could retire from the $$ he's making on Gaga.

what a lovely thought. I already love Gaga, but the idea of him retiring because she made him rich makes me love her more.
